Well Connected was established in 2005, with a mission to redefine the print and copy capabilities that could be supplied to businesses across Australia.
With print and imaging technologies advancing so quickly, we established that businesses were finding themselves faced with a huge, and confusing, choice of options for their office printing requirements; yet only limited choices when it came to acquisition – a capital investment or a fixed term finance arrangement.
The market obviously needed a new approach. A solution that would provide users the latest and the best machines; allow a way to minimise costs and environmental impact, and allow for productivity and efficiency to be maximised was desperately needed. This solution would also need to be able to give customers ample flexibility to manage print and copy capabilities easily and quickly, and also to keep up to date as requirements and market offerings evolved and changed.
To meet these very real needs, Well Connected developed and introduced its By The Page managed-service model, drawing upon the years of experience that the founders of Well Connected received in the European and Australian printing and software industries.
Our approach has proven very popular with Well Connected customers equipment manufacturers alike, with HP, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, Lanier and Lexmark all taking us on as distributors. Our customers have been able to improve their budgets while reducing print costs, paying regular, expected amounts under economic service agreements.
We now support more than 250 Australian businesses, from small to large, and supply print and copy equipment to hundreds more.
