Turning your humble printer into a productive office employee
Our Story so far
Well Connected Business Systems was born in 2007 by Chris Anderson, having sold his previous copier business 3 years prior.
At this point, Chris had over 25 years of experience in the Office Equipment Industry, having started in Edinburgh in 1978 and after running a very successful copier supply business which he later sold to his business partner in 2004.
Initially, Well Connected used the manufacturer’s service division for on-site technical visits, but it became clear that we needed to establish a dedicated service division of our own, subsequently, in 2012 we purchased Stirling Business Machines to provide this.
In 2017 we became full-service “Authorised Dealers” for several diverse manufacturers and moved to bigger premises in Balcatta. This allowed us to focus on our customers and own the journey for the life of the copier giving our customers a much better & locally focussed service engagement.
This move prompted our move into “smart” software solutions to automate business processes and create “paperless” digital workflows.
We now have dedicated personnel on board to customise these solutions and meet customer needs, automating repetitive office tasks which save businesses both time and money. Well Connected Business Systems can turn your humble printer into a productive office employee, we invite customers who wish to make their office more efficient to engage with us.
ECO Friendly initiatives
Reduce our Carbon Footprint and Landfill
Join our Recycling program and we will collect your used toner cartridges each time our Technician visits and have them taken for recycling. Who knows what they will become?
We have joined the “close the loop” program to reduce our carbon footprint & reduce landfills, and make a difference! It’s simple. Please place them back in the bag provided and put them back in the cardboard box & our Technicians will collect them on each visit. We will even recycle the cardboard box too.
As at December 2024 we have successfully recycled over 700 Kgs of waste that would have gone to landfill, we recycle our cardboard packaging and any redundant Printers are sent for recycling or overseas for a “second life”
Print Releaf…. you print it we plant it!
A great green initiative from Well Connected Business Systems.
We are pleased to join Print ReLeaf which is an Afforestation Project to replace the trees you use when you print.
Each page equates to an amount of wood used and is automatically converted to trees, which are replanted in a region of the world that you select.
Would you prefer to replant in Madagascar, the Dominican Republic or, perhaps reforestation of the Amazon in Brazil would be your preference?
We automate the meter reads from your print fleet and convert that to trees, and you are regularly updated with certificates to confirm your companies planted trees. At only a fraction of a cent per page, it doesn’t cost the Earth!
As at December 2024 through “Print Releaf” we have had 642 trees planted!
